Become a part of Borregos! Defend the blue and white by joining a representative team at Tecnológico de Monterrey, or get involved in one of the cultural activities offered on campus. Live the great experience of being part of Tecnológico de Monterrey!
In 1997, Tecnológico de Monterrey conducted an exchange with the Government of Mexico City, swapping its EGA building located on Fray Servando for a plot in Santa Fe with the original idea of opening the Graduate School of Administration (EGA) in the area. The land was acquired, but it wasn't until June 1999 that the purchase of the plot in the Tlayapaca section of Santa Fe was formalized. It was then decided to open the thirtieth university of the Tecnológico de Monterrey System on approximately 13 hectares of land.
Construction began on March 19, 2001, and activities commenced on August 16 of that same year. In April 2001, Dr. Alfredo Jacobo Molina was appointed General Director of the Santa Fe Campus.
In 2004, the first high school class graduated, totaling 67 students, along with the first postgraduate class, which awarded 38 degrees in the Master of Administration and Finance and 15 recognitions in the Global MBA Master's program.
Today, the history of the campus, one of the best universities in Santa Fe, is still being written. Tecnológico de Monterrey has played a prominent role for several years in global university rankings, climbing positions to establish itself among the best institutions in Mexico and Latin America. In the field of private universities, this year it was once again ranked among the top 30 worldwide and as the best in Mexico.
I warmly welcome you to Tecnológico de Monterrey in Santa Fe, a campus distinguished by its unparalleled ecosystem connected to industry, benefiting from a privileged location in the most important economic and business hub of the country, which we fully leverage for the training of our students.
