Beata Wojna

She holds a PhD in International Relations at Tec Monterrey, where she is a professor. She was ambassador of Poland in Mexico and Central America and obtained the Decoration of the Mexican Order of the Aztec Eagle. She wrote and coordinated analyzes on international relations in the European Union, Poland, Spain and Latin America. She is a member of COMEXI. She holds a PhD in Geography and History from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid.

Carlos Elizondo

He holds a PhD in Political Science from the University of Oxford. He was ambassador of Mexico to the OECD (2004). He is a research professor at Tec de Monterrey’s School of Government and Public Transformation. His last book is “Los de adelante corren mucho. Desigualdad, privilegios y democracia”. He has a weekly column in Excélsior, and together with Federico Reyes he conducts the program Primer Círculo.

Azucena Rojas

Master in Public Administration from Syracuse University in New York and Bachelor in Political Science from ITAM. She is the regional dean of the School of Social Sciences and Government in the West, with twenty years of experience in public affairs and public opinion research. She has collaborated with public and private institutions, conducting applied research with surveys and focus groups for the study of electoral issues, political behavior, and public policy.

Rosalinda Ballesteros

Rosalinda is currently the Director of the Institute of Happiness Sciences of Tecmilenio University, where she served as Vice Chancellor of High School. PhD in Humanistic Studies from the Tecnológico de Monterrey (2011) and graduated with a Master's Degree in Positive Psychology Applied from the University of Pennsylvania, USA, with the research project: Meaning and Purpose of Life as Key Elements for Personal Success (2015).

 

Luis Raúl Domínguez

Educator, creator, and musician is the Dean of Leadership and Student Development, overseeing 2,400 trainers and leading initiatives related to student affairs since 2016. He has transformed co-curricular programs, integrating them into the Tec Educational Model, and is responsible for enhancing university life through various student engagement programs —a passionate advocate for art and music.

EduTrends is the TecLabs podcast, with experts who will analyze innovation in education. The conductor of this program will bring us closer to innovative pedagogies, technologies, and other educational developments at the service of better learning results.

 

 

Pepe Escamilla

Pepe holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering and a PhD in Artificial Intelligence; he currently leads TecLabs, the disruptive innovation unit of Tec de Monterrey whose objective is to discover what education will be like in 2030.

Mariana León

Journalist. She has worked at El Universal, El Financiero, and Grupo Expansión. She was a reporter covering politics, science, education, and the environment. She believes in the importance of storytelling and making the world a better place. Mariana is a content editor at Tec Science.

Beatriz Palacios, InnovaTED

 

Beatriz Palacios

Director of Educational Innovation and Digital Learning at Tecnológico de Monterrey, with 35 years dedicated to promoting digital and distance education, as well as cutting-edge educational models. She has led the design and deployment of distance education models at Tec de Monterrey and Tec Milenio for high school, undergraduate, graduate, and continuing education programs. Her leadership has been key in the implementation of innovations such as the use of holograms, micro-credentials, adaptive learning, open education resources, MOOC, immersive learning, and purpose-built educational spaces for learning.

Throughout her career, she has played an essential role in the adoption of digital modalities as a strategic response to contingencies and educational transformation in universities and companies in Mexico and Latin America. She actively participates in international educational consortia in Europe and the Americas, promoting and leading initiatives that are revolutionizing education on a global scale.

She is the author of the e-book "30 Years of Digital and Distance Learning Experiences at Tecnológico de Monterrey," as well as various publications on organizational learning, educational innovation, and digital education.

Wellness experts from Tec de Monterrey are the hosts of the Ola de Salud podcast. Following the pillars of TecSalud's vision of well-being, prevention and longevity, they share advice on these topics, combining science and experience in an entertaining and accessible way.

 

Marcela Toscano

Specialized in Clinical Nutrition and Obesity, Dr. Toscano focuses her work on the general well-being, creating achievable, useful, and realistic strategies. Her private practice is at the Zambrano Hellion Hospital in the Internal Medicine Institute.

 
Dr. Mauricio Torres - Ola de Salud

Mauricio Torres

Physician graduated from Tecnológico de Monterrey and holder of a Master’s degree in Public Health from Johns Hopkins University. He currently serves as a researcher at the International Injury Research Unit (IIRU) at Johns Hopkins, where he focuses on injury prevention and collaborates with governments, universities, and international organizations to strengthen health systems across Latin America. Beyond research, Mauricio enjoys sharing ideas and fostering conversations that bring public health closer to people’s everyday lives.

Eva María Guerra Leal

Academic Associate Dean of EGADE Business School and researcher of the Thematic Area Group (GAT) of Social Innovation and Sustainability. Eva has a Doctorate in Administrative Sciences from EGADE Business School, a Master's Degree in Communication with a specialty in Organizational Communication, and a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing from Tecnológico de Monterrey. Additionally, she holds a certification in Business Analytics from the University of Texas at San Antonio. In 2023, Eva received the National Award for Inspiring Professors from Tecnológico de Monterrey, recognizing her outstanding contribution to academia and her commitment to social innovation.

Pablo Necoechea

Regional Director of EGADE Business School in Mexico City and Querétaro. He was National Manager of Sustainability and Climate Change at Tecnológico de Monterrey and Director of ESG and Sustainability at Grupo Televisa. He has worked as a senior consultant at renowned consulting firms and held roles in the public sector, managing sustainability projects. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and a Master's in Economic Development from UPAEP, a Master's in Innovation and Competitiveness from Deusto Business School, a Master's in Economics from the Autonomous University of Madrid, and a PhD candidate in Economics from the Complutense University of Madrid.

 

Alicia Fernanda Galindo Manrique

Director of the Master in Finance at EGADE Business School. He was director of the Bachelor's program in Public Accounting and Finance at Tecnológico de Monterrey. She is the founder of ABACO Financial Consulting. She has been a member of the National System of Researchers. She holds a PhD in Accounting and Finance with a focus on sustainability from the UANL with the University of Extremadura, a Master's degree in Finance, an MBA from EGADE Business School, and a Bachelor's in Public Accounting and Finance from the Monterrey Institute of Technology. In 2023, she was recognized with the Tec Woman Award.

Miguel Ángel Santos

Miguel Ángel Santos

Dean of the School of Government and Public Transformation at Tecnológico de Monterrey, since 2023. Holds a Master’s degree in Finance and International Trade and in Economics from Universitat Pompeu Fabra, a Master's in Public Administration from Harvard University, and a PhD in Economics from the University of Barcelona. He worked for a decade in the private sector in roles focused on corporate finance and business development, most notably serving as Vice President of Business Affairs for Sony Pictures and Entertainment in Latin America.

Most recently, he served as Director of Applied Research at Harvard University’s Growth Lab and led its first international expansion at LSE. He has also held appointments as Professor of the Practice of Development at Harvard University, the University of Chicago, and the London School of Economics.
