Personal information processed by ITESM
To comply with the purpose indicated in this Notice, ITESM will process personal identification information, personal contact data, family data, work data, data on physical characteristics, academic data, data on habits and life interests, financial data, and data related to your personal references. By providing the personal data of third parties, such as personal references, you acknowledge having their consent for ITESM to process your personal data to contact them and request references from you. For the purposes of this Privacy Notice, ITESM will not collect or process sensitive personal data.
Primary purposes
ITESM will process your personal information for the following primary and necessary purposes:
To manage access to the Professional Opportunities portal (hereinafter “portal”) we will use your personal data for the registration and management of an access account to the portal.
If you want to apply for a vacancy, we will use your personal data to fulfill the following purposes:
- To verify that you have the skills and abilities to perform the job according to the requirements of the job profile.
- For an interview.
- For applications of psychometrics tests.
- For socioeconomic studies.
- To request work and/or personal references.
- For the validation of your academic data.
- To prepare an economic offer (in some cases)
- To contact you and inform you about the recruitment and selection process.
If you are selected to be hired, ITESM will use the personal data you provide us to form your employment record.
Secondary purposes
If you don´t oppose, ITESM will process your personal data for the following additional purposes (which are not necessary for the employment relationship between you and ITESM), but which allow and serve to provide better assistance:
- To invite you to participate for some surveys.
- To send you communications through emails, phone calls, and other physical and/or electronic media which contains information for marketing purposes.
- To send you communications through emails, phone calls, and other physical and/or electronic media which contains information about news and future projects from ITESM including invitation to conferences.

To refuse the use of your personal data for additional purposes, it could not be a reason to end the relationship with ITESM.
Transfers
To comply with the necessary purposes described above or other legal purposes required from the Authority, ITESM will transfer your necessary personal data to the following organizations and for the following purposes.

If you do not want to ITESM transfer your personal data for those transfers for which your consent is necessary, you will need to send an email to the address: datospersonalestyc@itesm.mx.
ARCO rights and/or withdrawal of consent
You or your legal representative may exercise any of the Access, Rectification, Cancellation or Opposition rights (hereinafter referred as “ARCO rights”), as well as withdraw your consent for processing your personal data by sending an email to the Talent and Cultural Personal Data Protection Support Office by the following email address: datospersonalestyc@itesm.mx.
Your request shall be performed through the ARCO Rights Application, which shall be requested in the above mentioned email address. For the Talent and Cultural Personal Data Protection Support Office department to follow-up on your request, you or your legal representative, shall properly prove their identity; therefore, it is necessary to complete the indicated field in the ARCO rights application, and attach a copy of any valid official identifications stated therein. To obtain more information on the procedures, requirements and time limits to exercise your ARCO rights and/or consent withdrawal, please send an email to Talent and Cultural Personal Data Protection Support Office, to the email address indicated in the previous paragraph.

Limitation and/or Disclosure of your Data
You can limit the use or disclosure of your personal data by sending your request to: datospersonalestyc@itesm.mx. If your request is valid, you will be added to ITESM’s exclusion list
Use of Cookies
We inform you that we use cookies and other technologies in our web page, through which it is possible to monitor your behavior as internet user, as well as offering you a better service and experience while navigating in our web page.
The personal information that can be obtained through the use of these technologies are the following: Identifiers, session user name and password, region in which it is located, type of browser, type of operating system, date and time when the session begins and ends, visited web pages, searches performed and checked advertisement, which are the same we use to offer a better service.
These technologies can be disabled following these steps: removing cache memory of your browser with the purpose of protecting your information login details.
